Dubai airport completely gets out of service after air attack

ABU DHABI, March 16 (YPA) – The UAE authorities have temporarily suspended all flights at Dubai International Airport following an air attack that struck an oil tank, triggering a large fire.

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, as reported by the Dubai Government Media Office, said the suspension was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and airport staff. Passengers were advised to contact their airlines for the latest flight updates, with further announcements to follow as the situation develops.

Earlier, the Dubai Government Media Office confirmed that civil defense teams successfully brought the fire under control, noting that no injuries were reported from the incident near the airport’s fuel tank.
