SANAA, March 07 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa has warned against US and Israeli efforts to drag other countries, particularly regional states, into the conflict, cautioning that such involvement would expand the scope of hostilities and threaten the security of the entire region.
In a statement, the ministry described the US and the Israeli regime as the gravest threats to modern security and peace, calling on the international community to take a firm and responsible stance to halt their aggressive practices, which are driving the region and the world toward greater tension and instability.
The ministry emphasized that the US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is destined to fail, asserting that Iran delivers harsh lessons to its aggressors. The statement warned that continued aggression would only entrap the perpetrators in a quagmire difficult to escape.
It also described “Israel” as “weaker than a spider’s web,” asserting that its aggressive policies will neither bring security nor stability, but will instead hasten its inevitable fate.
The statement clarified that attacks on American military bases in countries hosting them should not be viewed as targeting those nations or their populations, but rather as a consequence of their use in aggression against Iran.
The ministry highlighted that the current aggression has revealed to host countries that these US bases were established not to protect their security but to safeguard American interests and implement its military policies, urging them to reconsider the presence of such bases to ensure their own security, sovereignty, and stability.
The Foreign Ministry also called on the international community to recognize the danger of the exploitative paradigm that enemies are attempting to impose on nations and peoples, emphasizing the importance of directing attention toward the true enemy of the Ummah.
The ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanon, and the Lebanese people in confronting US-Israeli aggression.
