IRGC downs US F-15 fighter jet in southwest Iran

TEHRAN, March 05 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has shot down a US fighter jet in southwestern Iran, Fars News Agency reported, citing IRGC’s statement .

According to the IRGC’s statement, an invading American two-seat, multi-role strike fighter, an F-15E Strike Eagle, was successfully targeted by the IRGC Aerospace Force’s new air defense systems in the early hours of Wednesday and crashed along the southwestern borders of Iran.
