Hamas condemns Israeli aggression on Lebanon

GAZA, March 05 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the ongoing criminal Zionist aggression against Lebanon and the Palestinian refugee camps, the latest of which was committed early morning when an airstrike targeted a home in the Beddawi refugee camp in Tripoli city, northern Lebanon, killing a Palestinian family and injuring others.

“These heinous crimes constitute a new Zionist aggression that flagrantly violates all international laws and norms, a stark violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and a direct targeting of our Palestinian people in refugee camps, reaffirming the criminal occupation’s continued policy of pursuing our people inside and outside [Palestine],” Hamas said in a s statement.

The movement extend its deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs and to our people in the Beddawi camp and across the refugee camps in Lebanon, reiterating that these crimes will not break the determination of our people nor deter from continuing the struggle until realizing our aspirations for liberation, return, and independence.

Hams held the Zionist occupation government fully responsible for this crime and its repercussions, and call upon the UN and the international community to condemn this dangerous aggression, which targets Lebanon’s security and threatens the region’s stability.
