Arafi: Iran’s resistance against aggression is being carried out as planned by martyr Khamenei

TEHRAN, March. 02 (YPA) – A member of Iran’s interim leadership council, Sheikh Ali Reza Arafi, affirmed on Monday that the current resistance of Iran against the American-Zionist aggression is being carried out according to the plan of Martyr Khamenei.

Arafi stated in remarks to Iranian television that “without a doubt, the Iranian people will prevail,” noting that Iran is passing through a critical phase, which can be successfully overcome with the help of the Iranian people.

On Sunday, the Iranian interim leadership council held its second meeting, after the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, announced its formation in accordance with the constitution.

The interim council consists of Sheikh Arafi, the head of the judiciary, Sheikh Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, and the Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian.

It is worth noting that the primary objective of the interim leadership council is to assume the responsibilities of the Supreme Leader until a successor is chosen, according to the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani.
