Civilian seriously injured by war remnant explosion in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – At least one civilian was seriously injured on Friday, after a remnant of war left behind by Saudi-led coalition forces exploded in Yemen’s western province of Hodeida, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the blast took place in the Kilo 16 area of Al-Durayhimi district, south of Hodeida.

The Kilo 16 area has witnessed heavy clashes in previous years and remains contaminated with unexploded ordnance, posing ongoing risks to civilians.
