OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb A Palestinian man succumbed to his injuries sustained during an attack by Jewish settlers and occupation forces on the village of Mikhmas, northeast of Jerusalem, during which dozens of sheep were stolen.
Local sources reported that four others were injured, three by live ammunition and one as a result of beatings by the occupation forces, while the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that the wounded were transferred to the hospital.
The village of Mikhmas and the adjacent Bedouin community of Khirbet al-Sidra are subjected to frequent attacks by settlers, including assaults on residents, destruction of property, and confiscation of equipment.
The community is home to approximately 16 families who rely primarily on livestock farming, while the area is surrounded by several settlements and outposts established between 1981 and 2025.
