Syrian security personnel killed in Raqqa confrontations

DAMASCUS, Feb. 11 (YPA) – A member of the Syrian transitional government’s security forces was killed, and several others injured on Wednesday, during clashes with militants in Raqqa city, northern Syria.

According to the Syrian “Hawar” agency, the incident began when security forces conducted a raid in the Shuaib neighborhood, which escalated into armed confrontations.

The identities of the attackers and the exact number of casualties remain unclear, while the city continues to experience heightened security tensions due to the presence of multiple armed groups and active militant cells.
