SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa-based government issued on Monday a warning regarding the Israeli occupation’s latest schemes in the West Bank, specifically citing recent decisions by the so-called “Security Cabinet” aimed at accelerating settlement expansion.
In an official statement, the ministry characterized these measures as a “flagrant violation of international law and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”
The statement further asserted that such decisions are ultimately designed to seize control of the West Bank, exposing what it described as the “expansionist and aggressive intentions” of the Israeli entity.
The ministry warned that these actions threaten to undermine ongoing efforts to end the aggression and lift the blockade on Gaza and “liquidate the Palestinian cause.”
Furthermore, the ministry called upon the Palestinian people to unify their ranks and maintain the “option of resistance” to thwart the adversary’s plans and reclaim their legitimate rights.
Concluding the statement, the ministry reaffirmed the position of the Republic of Yemen—leadership, government, and people—in support of the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state across their entire national territory, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
