Gaza Health Ministry: Death toll from Israeli aggression rises to 72,032

GAZA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the cumulative toll of victims from the ongoing Israeli genocide war in the Strip has risen to 72,032 martyrs and 171,661 wounded since the start of the Zionist aggression on October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that hospitals across the Gaza Strip received 5 martyrs and 10 wounded over the past 24 hours.

The ministry further noted that “A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roadways, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to be unable to reach them due to the ongoing situation.”

The report also revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the casualty toll has reached 581 martyrs and 1,553 injured, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 717 martyrs.
