Palestinian killed, another critically injured in Israeli shelling of northern Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 08 (YPA) – One Palestinian was killed and another seriously wounded on Sunday morning as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

 Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired an artillery shell at a group of civilians, killing one and critically injuring another.

Since the ceasefire that came into effect on October 11 last year, more than 2,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured as a result of over 1,500 violations of the agreement carried out by Israeli occupation forces.
