Gaza Health Ministry: Death toll from Israeli genocide has risen to 72,02, with 171,651 wounded

GAZA, Feb. 07 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli genocidal war in the Strip has risen to 72,027 martyrs, with 171,651 wounded since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that Gaza Strip hospitals received two martyrs and 25 injured people in the past 24 hours.

It added, “A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them at this time.”

The ministry revealed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 576 martyrs and 1,543 injured in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 717 martyrs.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza noted that 174 martyrs have been added to the cumulative death toll, as their data was completed and they were approved by the Martyrs’ Recognition Committee between January 30 and February 6, 2023.
