Two Palestinians, including child, injured by Israeli fire in Khan Younis

GAZA, Jan. 18 (YPA) —Two Palestinians, including a young girl, were injured by on Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Khan Younis, in Khan Younis southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces fired toward displaced persons’ tents in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, injuring two Palestinians, including a young girl.

The incidents come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 11, 2023. Since then, at least 463 Palestinians have been killed by continued Israeli attacks, while the number of injuries has exceeded 1,269.
