Meteorology launches new warnings regarding weather forecast

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning launched, on Monday, new warnings to fishermen and seafarers in the southern western coast, Bab al-Mandab, and Socotra archipelago of rough seas and high waves.

In its weather bulletin, the center also alerted citizens in the mountainous highlands, deserts, and interior plateaus to the cold and very cold weather, especially the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night and in the early morning.

It also advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops.
