HODEIDA health office launches urgent appeal for blood donation

HODEIDA, Aug. 2 (YPA) – The Office of Health in Hoeida province on Thursday launched an urgent appeal calling on citizens to donate blood.

The office head Abdul Rahma Jar Allah called, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, on the citizens to head urgently to the hospitals in Hodeida city to donate blood, to help a great number of injured caused by the Saudi-led airstrikes on the gate of public hospital of thawra and fish market nearby the hospital.

In preliminary toll, at least 37 people were killed, injured in the airstrikes on the hospital gates .
