US Boeing secures $8.6 billion contract for Israeli F-15 fighter jet program

WASHINGTON, Dec. 30 (YPA) – The U.S. Department of Defense (The Pentagon) has announced that Boeing was awarded an $8.6 billion contract for the Israeli F-15 fighter jet program.

This major defense deal was unveiled shortly after a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida on Monday.

According to the Pentagon, the contract includes the design, integration, testing, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force. Furthermore, the agreement grants “Israel” an additional option to purchase 25 more F-15IA jets in the future.

As part of the Foreign Military Sales program, the production will be carried out at Boeing’s facilities in St. Louis, Missouri. The project is expected to reach full completion by December 31, 2035.

The timing of this announcement is significant, as it follows high-level talks in Florida between President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu—who is currently wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of war crimes in Gaza.

This contract stands as one of the largest military support packages provided by the United States to Israeli entity, underscoring Washington’s commitment to ensuring its ally maintains military superiority in the region.
