Ansarallah official: Hadramout events is part of regional plot to fragment Yemen, loot resources

SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Mohammed al-Fareh, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, has detailed what he described as a “regional conspiracy” led by Riyadh and Abu Dhabi in Hadramout province, asserting that these developments are part of a systematic plan to dismantle Yemen and transform its south into a sphere of foreign influence.

Al-Fareh characterized the “Southern Transitional Council” (STC) as a tool used by the UAE to serve foreign interests, warning that such moves pave the way for external threats to Yemeni and Arab national security.

He stated that Saudi intervention in Hadramout and Mahra provinces is driven by a desire for dominance, treating these regions as annexed territories rather than integral parts of a sovereign state.

Al-Fareh reaffirmed Sanaa’s firm rejection of any external guardianship from Riyadh or Abu Dhabi, emphasizing that Yemen’s wealth and resources render it independent of foreign aid or “mercenarism.”

He concluded by stressing that any political or military project not founded on full Yemeni sovereignty is considered a “hostile project,” maintaining that Yemen will not be a “prize” to be divided by regional powers.
