Saudi shelling targets Yemen border areas

SAADA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The Saudi army renewed on Sunday its shelling on Yemeni border areas in Saada province, north of Yemen, according to local sources.

The sources said that the artillery shelling and machine-gun fire targeted villages in the Al-Thabit area of the Qataber border district.

On Saturday, a civilian was injury in a Saudi bombing on Ayyash area in the border district in the same province.

Yemen’s border areas have seen repeated attacks for years, killing and injuring thousands of civilians and causing widespread destruction of property.
