Israeli occupation forces arrest 3 Syrian civilians in Quneitra while gathering firewood

DAMASCUS, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Israeli “enemy” forces on Monday arrested three Syrian civilians from the village of Al-Hamidiyah while they were gathering firewood in the Dawar al-Alam area in the countryside of the Quneitra governorate in southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Israeli occupation forces, who are infiltrating Syrian territory, are repeatedly carrying out arrests of Syrian citizens, leading to a state of tension and caution among the residents.

Earlier on Monday, the Observatory had monitored the incursion of an Israeli military patrol setting up a checkpoint with four vehicles at the Ain al-Bayda junction in the northern Quneitra countryside, where they searched cars and passersby, amid a palpable state of fear among the Syrian civilians.
