Zionist forces kill Palestinian child in Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin

JENIN, Dec. 14 (YPA) – A Palestinian child was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday night in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources said Israeli forces opened live fire at 16-year-old Mohammad Iyad Abahreh in Silat al-Harithiya, killing him, before seizing his body.

Last night, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town, raided several homes, and fired live ammunition and stun grenades, triggering confrontations with residents. Snipers were also deployed on the rooftops of a number of buildings.

With the killing of Abahreh, the death toll in Jenin governorate has risen to 60 since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the province on January 21.
