Europe buys “Israeli” weapons tested in Gaza war of extermination

WASHINGTON, Dec. 06 (YPA) – The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that several European countries have announced their intention to purchase Israeli weapons systems that were used and tested during the war waged by the occupation on the Gaza Strip, which was described as a war of genocide targeting civilians and infrastructure.

According to the newspaper, Israeli arms exports reached a record high of approximately $14.8 billion in 2024, despite European demands to end the war on Gaza.

The data indicated that Europe was the largest destination for these exports, accounting for 54 percent of total sales.

According to the occupation’s data, more than half of these deals were large, each exceeding $100 million in value. The exported systems include missiles, air defense systems, and advanced combat equipment, which means that some of them were field-tested in the military operations witnessed in the Gaza Strip.

Specialized media sources indicated earlier that Europe represented the largest market for Israeli weapons during 2024, while observers believe that these deals reflect a contradiction between the declared political positions of some European countries calling for an end to the war and their continued purchase of weapons that have been used in massacres and genocide.
