Two leaders of UAE-backed ‘Al-Amaliqa’ brigades killed in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT,  Dec. 06 (YPA) – Two leaders of the UAE-backed ” Al-Amaliqa Brigades” factions were killed, and several of their escorts were injured on Saturday due to a violent explosion near the city of Sayoun in Hadramout Governorate.

The blast is suspected to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) targeting their vehicle.

A local source confirmed that the two fatalities were the “Finance Officer of the Fourth Al-Amaliqa Brigade” and the “Armaments Officer of the 41st Al-Amaliqa Brigade.”

This incident occurs one week after the UAE-backed factions gained control of the First Military Region camps affiliated with  the Islah Party in Hadramout valley. No party has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
