Israeli occupation forces launch wide-scale raid across West Bank, declaring areas closed military zones.

WEST BANK, Dec. 04 (YPA) Israeli occupation forces stormed many  areas of the occupied West Bank in early hours of Thursday, raiding homes of Palestinian citizens. This came after occupation authorities declared several towns and neighborhoods closed military zones, banned movement there, and carried out arrests and on-the-spot interrogations.

In Ramallah, the occupation forces re-arrested the Hamas leader, Sheikh Bajes Nakhleh, at dawn today, after raiding his home in the Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah city, in the central West Bank. Furthermore, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah city, and raided the home of the released prisoner Ayash Abu Alia.

In Salfit, the occupation forces invaded the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit city, in the northern West Bank, last night. During the incursion, they arrested the young man Ramadan Jasser al-Dik, a person with a disability.

In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested two young Palestinian men at dawn today, Thursday, after storming and searching their homes in the village of Madama, south of Nablus city, in the northern West Bank. The occupation forces also renewed their invasion of Nablus city from the direction of the “Al-Tur” military checkpoint and deployed military patrols throughout the city.

In Qalqilya, Palestinian security sources stated that the occupation forces officially informed the Palestinian Liaison about the siege of the Kafr Saba neighborhood in Qalqilya city and the imposition of a curfew until further notice.

The occupation forces raided Qalqilya city from the “Northern Checkpoint,” stormed the Kafr Saba neighborhood and Nablus Street, and began search campaigns of citizens’ homes, coinciding with abuse and the closure of Kafr Saba with earth mounds.

In Jenin, the occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign at dawn on Thursday during the continuous military aggression on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin city, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams in Jenin city transferred an injured man (53 years old) to the city’s hospitals; he was injured in an assault by the occupation forces during the aggression on the town of Masliya, southeast of the city, which has been under curfew since yesterday, Wednesday.

In Tulkarm, Local sources warned that the occupation forces raided the home of a Palestinian prisoner during their invasion of the town of Allar, north of Tulkarm city, in the northern West Bank. Separately, they also invaded the town of Seida, north of the city.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces invaded the towns of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem city, and Za’atara, east of the city, in the southern West Bank.

In Hebron, The Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Sa’ir and the Al-Ain area in the center of the town, north of Hebron city, in the southern West Bank.

The occupation forces also re-arrested the released prisoner, Tamer Waridat, who was part of the exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance, after raiding and searching his family’s home in the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron city.

Additionally, the occupation arrested the mayor of the town of Al-Samou’, southeast of Hebron city, and two young men from their homes in the “Old Town” of the same town.
