Yemeni Astronomer warns of cold wave starting November 30

SANAA, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni Astronomer Adnan al-Shawafi has forecasted the beginning of a gradual cold wave in Yemen starting Sunday night, November 30, 2025. Temperatures are expected to drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius compared to the previous night.

He noted that the weather will be cold to very cold in the highlands, mountain basins, and parts of the surrounding inland plateaus.

Al-Shawafi urged the public to stay updated with road bulletins for the latest information.

He also advised citizens to take necessary precautions and travel carefully during the cold wave, wishing everyone safety.
