Gunmen storm Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz, kidnap wounded man, two security guards

TAIZ, Nov. 26 (YPA) – Armed men belonging to the so-called “Fourth Brigade,” funded by the Saudi-led coalition on Wednesday stormed Al-Thawra General Hospital in Taiz city and kidnapped Suhail Al-Marbadi, a wounded man who was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

A human rights source confirmed that the kidnapping operation also targeted two hospital security personnel who attempted to object to the removal of the wounded man, in an incident described as “horrifying” and in violation of all humanitarian norms and laws.

This incident occurs amid a dangerous escalation witnessed in the Najd Al-Bard area in Al-Maqatirah, where a statement issued by the local residents yesterday, Tuesday, indicated that their villages were subjected to systematic shelling, incursions, and looting of property by the same brigade’s militants, despite a prior ceasefire agreement.

The incident sparked widespread condemnation. Residents and human rights organizations demanded an immediate and transparent investigation, the release of all abductees, and accountability for those responsible for this blatant violation that threatens the region’s stability.
