Slovenian President: We will not allow “Israel” to eliminate Palestinian state

LJUBLJANA, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Slovenian President Nataša Berk-Musár stated that her country remains committed to its position supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state and the two-state solution.

She said that if the international community allows Israel to continue settlement activity, it will be the end of the Palestinian state, and “we will not allow that,” she added.

Berk-Musár explained that the European Union’s positions on the Gaza war are not unified, as they were on the Ukraine issue. She said that some European countries are still supplying weapons to Israel and receiving its leaders accused of war crimes, describing this as a “double standard policy that undermines Europe’s credibility.”

She affirmed that her country believes in human rights and stands with humanity, saying, “I was the first president of the European Union to describe what is happening in Gaza as genocide.”

“Europe is not united against Israel. We have banned arms exports to it and prohibited the entry of its officials,” she added.
