Gaza death toll climbs to 69,176 amid Israeli violation of ceasefire deal

GAZA, Nov. 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces have killed 69,176 Palestinian people, the majority of whom were children and women, in the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of war on October 7, 2023, the Gaza-based Ministry of Health on Sunday.

A ministry’s statement added that at least 170,677 others have been wounded.

The statement coalfired that the bodies of 7 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the Strip, including one new martyr and 6 others who were pulled from under the rubble, in addition to 5 wounded, during the last 72 hours.

Since the ceasefire deal took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 241 Palestinians have been killed, 609 others injured, and the bodies of 513 martyrs have been recovered.
