Emirati officers left Yemen’s Shabwa for Gaza to train factions working for Israeli occupation

SHABWA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – A number of Emirati officers stationed in Shabwa and Rayyan areas, eastern Yemen, have departed for the Gaza Strip, security sources reported on Tuesday.

The sources told the Sanaa-based official Yemen News Agency (Saba)  that the purpose of the officers’ travel is to train elements there to work for the Israeli occupation, carrying out tasks similar to those they manage in Yemen, including recruitment and forming brigades and teams to participate in the Zionist enemy’s war against the “Mujahideen in Gaza.”

The sources indicated that these officers, who manage Yemeni factions (including recruits of Tariq Afash), were nominated by the Emirati leadership to go to Gaza for 45 days to train elements on modern warfare methods and various types of drones for security and military operations against resistance movements. The sources mentioned that officers working for the UAE’s Red Crescent were among those who left.

The security sources also revealed the presence of American officers in the occupied territories to assess the readiness of “mercenaries,” which “indicates intentions to launch a new aggression against Yemen.”
