Freedom Movement congratulates liberated heroes, renew pledge to liberate remaining prisoners

GAZA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The Palestinian Freedom Movement expressed on Monday its heartfelt congratulations to the Palestinian prisoners who breathed freedom after their release from occupation prisons, stressing that these prisoners have always been the motivation and driving force behind the resistance operations, which have taken it upon themselves to liberate them, no matter the cost.

In a press statement, the movement said that the liberation of the prisoners, especially those with life sentences and long prison terms, is the fruit of our people’s steadfastness and sacrifices, and that the people were the rock against which the occupation’s plans to eradicate the resistance were shattered. It emphasized that the arrest of enemy prisoners and their detention for a full year was part of a comprehensive confrontation waged by the resistance in the context of a war of extermination.

The movement added that it renews its pledge to the prisoners whom the occupation has refused to release, stressing that they remain a top priority for the resistance factions, and that obstacles, no matter how criminal or supported by international inaction, will not deter them from striving to liberate every prisoner until the occupation’s prisons are empty.

The statement concluded: “We will remain faithful to our pledge until the last prisoner is released from the Zionist prisons of injustice, God willing. We consider the release of prisoners a milestone of pride and dignity in the path of the national struggle.”
