Hamas congratulates released prisoners, affirms torture testimonies expose systematic sadism of Israeli occupation

GAZA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The Hamas movement congratulated on Monday the Palestinian people and the released prisoners on the achievement of freedom from the Israeli occupation’s jails, describing it as a “bright national milestone” in the struggle towards comprehensive liberty.

In an official statement today, the movement affirmed that the testimonies given by the released prisoners concerning acts of brutal torture and humiliating treatment expose the “extent of the systematic sadism” practiced by the occupation.

This, the statement added, places international human rights institutions before their ethical and legal responsibility to hold “Israel” accountable for its crimes against humanity.

Hamas stressed that the Palestinian resistance dealt with the Israeli captives according to its “Islamic, national, and civilized values,” ensuring their lives and safety despite the on-ground risks and the harsh conditions of the aggression, thereby confirming its commitment to its ethical principles.

The movement concluded by stating that the resistance is pressing forward toward complete victory and that the war criminal “Benjamin Netanyahu” and his extremist gang will not be able to steal the joy of the Palestinian people over this achievement.
