Al-Quds Brigades: “Al-Aqsa Flood” is a turning point, fighting continues until Quds is liberated

GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, issued a military statement Tuesday on the second anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, affirming that the battle constituted a “pivotal stage” in the conflict with the Israeli occupation.

The Brigades reiterated their commitment to continuing the fight alongside Palestinian resistance factions until the occupation ends and Quds (Jerusalem) is liberated.

The statement clarified that the operations carried out by the resistance two years ago recorded great scenes of heroism, with the Brigades’ fighters killing and capturing hundreds of occupation soldiers.

Al-Quds Brigades emphasized the continuation of a “long war of attrition” against the occupation, stressing that the weapon of resistance will remain directed towards the liberation of the land. They also repeated their demand that Israeli captives will not be released except in exchange for an honorable prisoner swap deal conditioned on a ceasefire and the lifting of the blockade.

The statement held the occupation government and the supporting American administration fully responsible for the war crimes in Gaza. It also extended greetings to the fighters in the West Bank and the regional resistance forces supporting Gaza, confirming that “Jihad continues and the fight goes on until Quds.”
