PARIS, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The French magazine ‘Orient 21’ has revealed information suggesting a role for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the “Israeli aggression” against Yemen.
The magazine asserted that the “escalation in the Yemeni file comes amid important regional shifts that deserve clarification, particularly concerning the potential role of Abu Dhabi leaders and some neighboring countries in the Israeli attacks on Yemen, albeit indirectly.”
The ‘Orient 21’ noted that Israeli intelligence networks and technologies have been unsuccessful in penetrating what it called “the Houthis,” whose leaders remain out of reach, unlike the clear successes observed in Lebanon and Iran.
The magazine hinted at Emirati assistance in the recent Israeli attacks in Sanaa, citing the quality of intelligence obtained by Zionist spy agencies, and the failure of an assassination attempt on Chief of Staff Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghomari.
It added, “It appears that the Israeli sources currently being relied upon go beyond satellite and communications monitoring, and most likely include field information gathered by parties hostile to Sanaa forces, which is then conveyed through Emirati intelligence agencies.”
The report further indicated that “since the outbreak of the war on Yemen in 2015, the UAE has been able to develop powerful intelligence networks by offering financial incentives, to the extent that it now competes with the Saudis, including, for example, within some Salafi groups.”
