Kim Jong Un: North Korea now has ‘secret weapon’

PYONGYANG, Sept. 22 (YPA) – North Korean leader Kim Jong-un stated that his country has “acquired a secret weapon” as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

“We have acquired new secret weapons. Significant progress has been made in the field of defense science and research, which will greatly contribute to a sharp increase in combat capabilities,” Kim Jong Un said during his speech at the regular session of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

“Our state and party are achieving continuous and rapid development in strengthening our defense capabilities,” he added.

Last Friday, the Korean Central News Agency reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un supervised tests of tactical attack drones on Thursday.

He emphasized the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technology into the drones and enhancing their operational capabilities.

Kim Jong-un confirmed that North Korea has strengthened its naval capabilities through the construction of new multi-purpose destroyers.
