In mass rallies supporting Gaza, Yemeni people warn Saudi regime against any collaboration with Israeli enemy

SANAA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – Millions of Yemenis took to the streets of the capital, Sanaa and several provinces on Friday in mass rallies held in solidarity with the people of Palestine amid the ongoing US-“Israeli” genocide in Gaza.

The rallies were held under the slogan: “We will not accept the shame of abandonment no matter the crimes of aggression.”

Protesters held banners and chanted slogans denouncing the US-backed Israeli military campaign in Gaza, while reaffirming Yemen’s ongoing support for the Palestinian people.

In a statement issued by the organizers during the rallies, declared that “the events and developments during the aggression on Gaza confirm that jihad is the right and wise choice.”

“Other Alternatives toward the enemy have no value; rather, they embolden it —amplifying its arrogance, authoritarianism, and expansionist ambitions. The outcome of the Doha summit underscores this reality,” the statement read.

It praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and commended recent military operations by the Palestinian resistance, describing them as effective and divinely guided in inflicting damage on Israeli occupation forces.

The rallies’ statement also praised the recent escalation in military operations by Yemeni armed forces, stating that the attacks had achieved their intended objectives and inflicted damage on Israeli targets, with what it described as divine support.

.The statement warned Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, and any party considering securing maritime routes for Israel that such intervention would lead to defeat and would be met with a more forceful response than ever before.

The Yemeni protesters reiterated their steadfast commitment to the path of God and a sacred jihad against the “criminal Zionist enemy.”

They renewed their full support for Gaza and its resistance movement, emphasizing solidarity with the Palestinian struggle.
