At least 65,174 Palestinians killed in Israeli onslaught on Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – At least 65,174 Palestinians have been killed and 166,071 wounded in the genocidal war the Israeli occupation has been launching in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

The ministry affirmed in a statement that 33 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 146 people were injured, in the Israeli onslaught.

It added: “Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,”

The statement also noted that a citizen was killed and over 17 others injured by Israeli occupation fire while trying to get humanitarian aid in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 2,514, with over 18,431 others wounded since May 27.

It clarified that four Palestinians, including one child, died of malnutrition and starvation in the last 24 hours. This brought the famine-linked death toll since October 2023 to 440 people, including 146 children.
