During massive demonstration, Sanaa government affirms: “We will not submit”

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Millions of people took to the streets of Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sanaa, on Friday, to affirm loyalty to the blood of the martyrs and in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.

In a speech delivered from the square’s podium, the acting prime minister in Sanaa, Sheikh Mohammed Miftah, delivered a sharp message, emphasizing that the Yemeni people’s weekly marches are a tribute to Allah and religion, and a remembrance of the martyrs of Palestine.

Regarding the recent Zionist aggression on Sanaa, Miftah said that when the enemy targets Yemen and thinks it will bring it to its knees, “we say to it: humiliation is not in our dictionary,” indicating a refusal to submit and surrender.

He also addressed a direct message to the “global coalition of evil,” saying that Yemen will not submit when this coalition commits crimes by targeting civilians. He concluded his speech by emphasizing the honor of the presence of “martyred leaders on the path to Al-Quds (Jerusalem)” and pledging to continue supporting the Palestinian cause.
