Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi: Israeli occupation destroys 90% of Gaza, dragging region into “equation of violation”
SANAA, Sept. 11 (YPA) -Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip for over 703 days represents the “crime of the century.”
In a televised speech on Thursday evening, he noted that more than 20,000 children and 12,500 women have been killed amid a shameful international silence and overt American complicity.
Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that the Israeli occupation is practicing genocide against Palestinians through all means, including bombing, destruction, starvation, thirst, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands, herding them into narrow areas falsely declared “safe” before they are targeted again.
“The Zionist enemy has destroyed 90% of the buildings in the Strip and seeks to erase all signs of life, using American bombs, bulldozers, and demolitions, targeting towers, mosques, hospitals, and educational institutions,” he added.
Sayyed Al-Houthi stressed that the crime of starvation, which the whole world is witnessing, is the most horrific form of genocide, with over two million people, mostly children, left to die a slow death in an unprecedented scene on Earth.
Regarding regional developments, he explained that the Israeli attack on Qatar, by targeting a Hamas office in Doha, reflects the expansion of “the equation of violation” to include the Gulf and the entire Arab world. He considered this dual aggression “a blow to Qatari sovereignty and a targeting of the negotiation process,” which he said would not have happened without complete American cover.
Sayyed Al-Houthi criticized the Arab and Islamic positions, which are limited to condemnatory statements, describing them as an “excessively foolish strategy” that increases the occupation’s appetite for expansion. He said, “No country that normalized relations has cut ties with the entity despite its massacres, and the enemy and its supporters know that the ceiling does not go beyond a piece of paper.”
Concerning the West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), he noted that the occupation continues daily operations of killing, demolition, and arrest, in parallel with repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and excavations around it, as part of a comprehensive Judaization plan aimed at changing the city’s Islamic identity and erasing its historical features.
He affirmed that the Zionist project extends beyond Palestine to target Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq, while Washington plays the role of a political and ideological partner in enabling “Greater Israel,” considering that “the American position is not a passing political one but stems from Zionist religious backgrounds.”
On the Yemeni role, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi emphasized that the Yemeni people are fighting a sincere battle to support the Palestinian people, having offered hundreds of martyrs and wounded. He stated that in the past two weeks alone, they have carried out 38 operations with missiles and drones targeting Israeli ports, airports, and military targets, affirming that “Yemeni support for the Palestinian cause is an act of faith and a religious and moral duty.”
He also pointed out that the Israeli occupation’s crimes of targeting a civilian government, media offices, and civilian homes are not military victories but rather crimes added to their criminal record.
Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi concluded his speech by calling on the Islamic nation to free itself from the illusion of relying on America and futile settlement projects and to adhere to the option of resistance and jihad as the only way to protect rights and sacred sites and break “the Zionist violation equation.”
