Mousavi: Yemeni people, with their steadfastness, are living symbol of resistance, source of pride for Islamic nation
TEHRAN, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Major General Seyyed Abdul Rahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, condemned the criminal Zionist aggression on the capital, Sana’a, which led to the martyrdom of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi and a number of accompanying ministers.
He described the attack as a full-fledged war crime that reveals the arrogance of the criminal entity and its continued hatred of the nation and free peoples.
Mousavi stressed that this horrific crime comes within the framework of aggressive expansionist policies led by the Zionist entity with the full support of its allies, especially the United States of America.
However, despite all its horror, it will not weaken the will of the resistant Yemeni people, nor will it undermine their firm revolutionary resolve to defend Palestine, Gaza, and every occupied land.
Major General Mousavi explained that the Yemeni people remain steadfast and heroic, at the height of courage and sacrifice, and that this steadfastness makes them a living symbol of resistance and a source of pride for the entire Islamic nation.
He added that Yemen represents the most honest and loyal model in confronting Zionist and American arrogance, and the honest voice of the revolution in support of Palestine and oppressed Gaza.
He pointed out that the blood of the righteous martyrs, including the Prime Minister and the group of ministers accompanying him, will only be additional fuel for more steadfastness and confrontation of aggression, and a shining torch on the path of liberation and resistance.
Mousavi considered the attack on the Yemeni government, which targeted civilian political leaders a flagrant violation of international law and a crime against humanity that cannot be justified under any pretext.
He said: “This Zionist crime reveals the fear of the entity and its allies of the expansion of the axis of resistance and the growing strength of the peoples in defending their just cause, stressing that these crimes will not weaken the will of the Yemenis, but rather will increase the strength of the resistance axis in the region.”
He emphasized that Yemen’s steadfastness and courage will continue to break the back of the aggressors and protect the just causes of the nation, no matter how great the challenges.
“Yemen will remain at the heart of the battle for Palestine and Jerusalem, and no matter how hard the enemy tries, the blood of the martyrs will remain a shining flame that shakes the entity of the aggressors and reminds the whole world that truth and courage are invincible,” Mousavi added.
