Sayyid Abdulmalik Al-Houthi: Israeli aggression on Yemen and its civilian government is a crime proving its danger to the nation

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the martyrdom of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi and a number of ministers and civilian cadres as a result of an Israeli aggression that targeted a government workshop last Thursday represents “a new heinous crime added to the criminal record of the Israeli enemy against the peoples of the region.”

In a televised speech, Sayyid Abdulmalik extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and the entire Yemeni people. He emphasized that the martyrs who fell as a result of this crime are martyrs of all Yemen and that targeting them “reflects the true nature of the enemy who does not hesitate to target civilians, including ministers, women, children, and employees of official institutions.”

A Crime Added to the Israeli Occupation’s Record

Sayyid Abdulmalik considered the targeting of civilian figures working in sectors far from any military activity “reveals the nature of the Israeli entity, which has been based on killing and aggression since its inception,” adding that its crimes extend from Palestine to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and now to Yemen.

“The enemy’s record is one of heinous criminality, and it does not adhere to any international regulations, laws, or charters,” he said, affirming that “the Zionist entity poses a threat to the entire nation, not just to a specific country.”

Yemeni Stance Remains Firm Despite Sacrifices

Sayyid Abdulmalik al-Houthi stressed that the great sacrifices made by the Yemenis in facing the enemy will not weaken the official or popular Yemeni stance but will rather increase its steadfastness, resilience, and determination.

“From the beginning, we have prepared ourselves for sacrifice in the way of Allah, and we realize that the true interest of our country and our nation lies in our adherence to freedom and in confronting Zionist plans of enslavement,” he added.

He affirmed that the Yemeni people are fighting this battle as a jihad for the sake of Allah and as a religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility, and that the status of martyrdom in it is “a sacred status and a true victory,” noting that Yemen refuses to stand idly by and watch what he described as “the heinous crimes committed by the enemy in Palestine and at Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Escalation on All Fronts

Regarding the military track, Sayyid Abdulmalik al-Houthi reiterated that operations targeting the Israeli entity with missiles and drones, along with the naval blockade imposed in the Red Sea, will continue at an escalating pace.

He also pointed out that Yemen is fighting its battle against the Israeli occupation on all fronts: military, security, political, economic, and media.

Sayyid Al-Houthi noted that the security services have achieved significant successes in fortifying the internal front and enjoy broad popular support through the tribal honor document and weekly demonstrations that confirm the unity of the popular and official stance.

He concluded his speech by affirming that Yemen is firm in its principled and humanitarian stance toward the Palestinian cause and that the coming days will witness additional successes in thwarting the plans of the Israeli enemy.
