IRGC arrests Mossad-linked terror cell in northeastern Iran

TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (YPA) -Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday its intelligence forces had arrested a Mossad-linked terror cell, consisting of 8 individuals in Khorasan province.

In a statement, the IRGC confirmed that these elements had sent the information of vital and sensitive centers as well as prominent military figures to Mossad agents during the recent 12-day war with Israel regime.

The statement also revealed that the cell had been planning operations against civilian and military officials, and to “destroy important centers” in the city of Mashhad.

It further clarified that the cell’s arrest came as a result of “accurate and continuous intelligence operations” carried out by the IRGC Intelligence Organization in Khorasan Razavi province, in coordination with judicial authorities.
