Protesters block Ben Gvir’s path, accuse him of killing prisoners in Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Hebrew media reported that demonstrators blocked the path of the extremist Israeli occupation entity’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, on Saturday, as he was heading to a synagogue in the Kfar Malal settlement, chanting hostile slogans and raising pictures of Israeli prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

According to Hebrew media, the protesters followed the minister to the vicinity of the synagogue, accusing him of being responsible for the deaths of a number of Israeli prisoners as a result of his hardline positions rejecting any exchange deal, and described him as a “disgrace.”

A video clip showed Ben-Gvir walking with his son under heavy security guard, while among the demonstrators were reserve officers who publicly criticized him.

The far-right minister is known for his repeated calls to occupy and destroy the Gaza Strip and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid to its besieged residents

In a related context, Hebrew reports indicated that Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich threatened to resign from the occupation government if Benjamin Netanyahu proceeds an agreement with Hamas to end the aggression.
