HADRAMOUT, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Omani artist, Muntaser Al-Ghafri, was able to rescue a citizen from drowning in the floods of Wadi Bin Aifan of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen
Activists from the province circulated a video clip of Al Ghafri reaching a drowning man who was clinging to a tree in the middle of the valley in the Al Qatan area, after residents had failed in an attempt to rescue the citizen.
They confirmed that Al-Ghafri rushed to save the citizen from drowning by chance while returning from the Doan district on a tourist trip, a scene that impressed local residents.
The residents expressed their appreciation for the Omani artist’s noble initiative, which they considered to be rooted in Arab values and chivalry in saving citizens from death.
