QUDS, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned of rising Muslim population in Europe, arguing that this demographic shift would have direct repercussions for them.
Bennett said that more than half of the children in Brussels are Muslim, as well as about 40% of them in Amsterdam, Vienna, and London, noting that these figures were unbelievable and had significant global implications, additionally, what he described as dramatic effects on policy toward the occupation.
He pointed out that the increasing proportion of Muslims in European societies would push politicians there to adopt more hostile positions toward “Israel”.
He called for reducing security and economic dependence on Western Europe and diversifying partnerships with other countries and regions, such as India and the UAE, in preparation for future global changes.
Bennett attached a graphic list of what he claimed was the high percentage of Muslim children in European schools, but did not cite its source.
