60 martyrs, 344 injuries arrived at Gaza hospitals within 24 hours

GAZA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Monday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide and aggression has risen to 62,004 martyrs and 156,230 injuries since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statement, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that 60 martyrs and 344 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The ministry indicated that the number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours reached 27 martyrs and 281 injuries, bringing the total number of livelihood victims who arrived at hospitals to 1,965 martyrs and more than 14,701 injuries.

It stated that Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 5 deaths during the past 24 hours, including 2 children, as a result of famine and malnutrition, bringing the total number to 263 deaths, including 112 children.

It noted also that the death toll from March 18, 2025, to date, has reached 10,460 martyrs and 44,189 injuries

“Many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time,” the ministry added.
