Citizen killed, children injured in Israeli drone strike on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 04 (YPA) – A Lebanese citizen was killed and four others, including two children, injured on Monday in an Israeli drone strike on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The ministry affirmed that the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment, some of whom are in critical condition.

Local residents said the drone targeted a residential home in a populated neighborhood, causing a loud explosion and sparking panic among civilians, amid questions about the state’s continued silence regarding the repeated attacks.
