AMSTERDAM, July 29 (YPA) – The Dutch government has banned the entry of extremist Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich due to their calls for ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
The two ministers are considered responsible for incitement to war crimes and crimes against humanity and are linked to the policy of genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Dutch Foreign Minister Casper Waldkamp emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is unacceptable and that the statements and actions of these individuals violate international law, announcing that their names have been placed on the entry ban list.
The Dutch Foreign Ministry also summoned the Israeli ambassador and lodged a formal protest against his policies. Consultations have begun with European Union partners to freeze the trade agreement and exclude “Israel” from European cooperation programs.
