Female workers arrested after being assaulted at Aden wedding hall

ADEN, July 22 (YPA) – Several Female workers were arrested on Tuesday at a wedding hall in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, after being assaulted by an official’s daughter.

In a shocking precedent, the pro-coalition leader’s daughter assaulted a number of the workers after they refused to hand over a mobile phone that did not belong to her.

According to a local source, the daughter attempted to take the cell phone from one of the workers, claiming it belonged to her. However, the worker rejected to hand it over to anyone except its owner, leading to an assault on the workers.

In a remarkable development, a military force raided the hall, using an armored vehicle and a number of soldiers, arresting the workers and the hall owner.

This action confirmed the widespread chaos and bullying perpetrated by the city’s officials.
