Pro-Palestine activists protest in Austrian Parliament over silence on Gaza genocide

VIENNA, July 11 (YPA) – Pro-Palestinian activists protested during a session in the Austrian Parliament on Friday, condemning the silence over the ongoing genocide being perpetrated by “Israel” in Gaza for the 22nd consecutive month

Activist Dalia Sarig-Fellner addressed lawmakers, saying: “You are not speaking about the massacre, about the genocide.”

She added: “You talk about human rights, but you say nothing about what is happening in Gaza. “Israel” is committing genocide there.”

Dalia Sarig-Fellner also criticized Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger for referring to her Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar as a “friend,” stating: “Shame on you.”

Meanwhile, another activist chanted “Free Palestine!” before security guards forcibly removed the protesters from the parliament.
