GAZA, July 06 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza announced the implementation of a number of military operations against Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles that had penetrated the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine, said that they had targeted a position of Israeli soldiers and vehicles north of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The brigades said in a brief statement: “We targeted a position of enemy vehicles and soldiers east of al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, with a barrage of 60mm regular mortar shells.”
For its part, the Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, announced, on Sunday, that its fighters had mortared a gathering of Israeli enemy forces in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Brigades said in a brief statement, “Our fighters were able to crush a gathering of Zionist enemy forces in the Ma’an area of Khan Yunis with 81mm mortar shells.”
