Hamas reveals truth about assassination of Khalil al-Hayya in Doha

DOHA, June 16 (YPA) – The Hamas-affiliated ‘Tebayon’ TV channel denied on Sunday an assassination attempt on the movement’s leader in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya, in Doha.

In a brief statement, the channel said it denies “the rumors circulated by some social media groups about an assassination attempt on the head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, our brother, the Mujahid Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, in the Qatari capital, Doha.”

The channel called on media outlets and social media activists to “examine the accuracy of this news and not be drawn into the Zionist media.”

With absolute American support, Zionist enemy forces have been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 55,362 people, 128,741 wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.
